Dunguib pleases in final gallop
Dunguib pleased connections in his final piece of strong work ahead of the Stan James Champion Hurdle.
Philip Fenton's charge finished third when 4/5 favourite for last year's Stan James Supreme Novices' Hurdle and the trainer admits he's under less pressure 12 months later after only one run to date this term.
"Dunguib is in good form. He did his last bit of strong work this morning and we are very happy with him," he said on Wednesday.
"I am sure that he is improved since winning at Gowran Park but I am also well aware that he needs to if he is going to run well at Cheltenham.
"There is obviously less talk and hype about the horse compared to last year, but things are running smoothly and we are very happy with him at the moment."
