Jessica Harrington is confident that Supasundae will stay the trip in the Sun Bets Stayers' Hurdle at Cheltenham on Thursday week.

Last year's Coral Cup winner has been beaten in two attempts at three miles so far, finishing second to Yanworth in the Liverpool Hurdle at Aintree last April and runner-up to Apple's Jade in the Christmas Hurdle at Leopardstown.

Harrington resisted the temptation to think about going for the Unibet Champion Hurdle after his victory over Faugheen in the Irish equivalent at Leopardstown last month.

"He's a three-miler. I know he beat Faugheen the other day but unless Willie (Mullins) can do a miracle, I'm not sure he's the horse he was," said the Moone handler.

"I think he's bigger and stronger this year and that will definitely help him. He's had a very good, straightforward preparation.

"Soft ground - I don't think it will be worrying him."
