Kauto shortens

Dual Cheltenham Gold Cup winner Kauto Star continues to attract support ahead of his bid to regain his crown, lost last year to Imperial Commander.

The Paul Nicholls trained star chaser was today backed into 11/2 (from 6s) with Ladbrokes.

David Williams of Ladbrokes said: "Kauto Star has been far and away the best backed Gold Cup horse in recent days. He has an unrivalled public support and it is no longer beyond the realms of possibility that he could challenge Imperial Commander for favouritism."
