Shane Foley liked her and said she'd definitely get black-type somewhere along the line, he didn't know when, it could be the end of the year. She has improved from last year. She was a little bit keen early on and two furlongs down you'd imagine she was only going to be third but she stuck at it. That is the first time ever she has had to battle a good bit as normally she is a few lengths clear with a furlong to go. We have the Athasi Stakes (Curragh, May 6th) mapped in for Monday week provided we get a downpour the night before.

Conditions were in her favour, she likes that ground and also likes to dictate. There's the Listed Garnet Stakes at Naas next Saturday over a mile for her next but whether it's too quick for her or not I'm not sure; we'll see if she's ok first.

We might have a shot at a black-type race after that, and we’ll look for a mile Listed race; her dam (Drombeg Dawn) won the Lincoln (in 2011, for trainer Andrew McNamara) and we might think about that next March.

She looks like she would stay further than a mile and is a tough filly as she has run seven or eight times and didn't get it easy any day,. I felt the handicapper gave me a chance by giving her 1lb for her Listowel run and Shane loved her before he had every ridden her as he finished ahead of her in a race won by Sioux Nation here earlier in the season and asked me then that if ever it came up, that he'd like to ride her. The owners (farrier Cian McAuliffe and his father and bookmaker Paddy McAuliffe, from Athlacca, Co Limerick) asked me could I find something in France for her and I think there's a Listed race (Listed Prix Herod Stakes at Chantilly, over seven furlongs) next month which could be an option.
