Review clonmel 21st Mar
Andrew McNamara enjoyed a double at Clonmel, with the highlight the success of Val De Ferbet in the Suir Valley ChaseTue 21st Mar
He won well in Fairyhouse the other day but I'd say the track didn't suit him great today,. I had it in my head after he won that he might go to Punchestown but when I looked at the race he won't get into it so I decided to declare him here. He might go to Punchestown now for the Opportunity Hurdle. Anthony gave him a good ride. I'd say the better track will suit him better. He was a little bit on the back-foot the whole way but this place is a bit like that. Fair play to the owners for letting me run. I probably should have left him but we're under pressure with the prize-money.
Gordon Elliott
He’s a grand horse. I thought he’d run well but I thought if he was fourth or fifth it would have been a good run. He should be up to winning again hopefully.
Gordon Elliott
