Rory did all the work on her and he was very keen on her,. Her last piece of work was very good and I was very happy with her. It was probably just fine-tuning things with her, taking our time and not putting her under pressure. She ran a bit too keen last time, she had a bit too much daylight. We were still learning with her. Rory had her sussed out after riding her once at home and then in Navan. She’s a nice filly, fairly straightforward and I think there is a bit more to come from her yet. I told everyone to back her, I’m not a backing man. My brother (Ivan) sourced her for Alistair (Porter, owner) in Newmarket. I’m chuffed for Alistair, he’s with me a long time. It’s a while since he had a winner, and God, does he let me know about that!. The last few didn’t work out for us, but he’s a happy man now.
