Clarke's In A Hurry too fast for rivals Despite finishing a promising third over course and distance on her previous outing, In A Hurry was friendless in the market for Dundalk's Irishinjuredjockeys.com Handicap over seven furlongs. Rory Cleary's mount was sent off a 28/1 chance, but belied those odds with a comfortable success. After turning for home in fourth, the Time Test four-year-old led a furlong and a half out to beat Rappell by two and a quarter lengths. “Rory did all the work on her and he was very keen on her,” said Clarke. “Her last piece of work was very good and I was very happy with her. “It was probably just fine-tuning things with her, taking our time and not putting her under pressure. “She ran a bit too keen last time, she had a bit too much daylight. We were still learning with her. “Rory had her sussed out after riding her once at home and then in Navan. “She’s a nice filly, fairly straightforward and I think there is a bit more to come from her yet. “I told everyone to back her, I’m not a backing man. “My brother (Ivan) sourced her for Alistair (Porter, owner) in Newmarket. I’m chuffed for Alistair, he’s with me a long time. It’s a while since he had a winner, and God, does he let me know about that! “The last few didn’t work out for us, but he’s a happy man now.”  Additional reporting by Gary Carson
