Legend inflicts pain on Mystic supporters
Those that backed Mystic Desir from as big as 5/2 in a place this morning into 6/4 favouritism were sickened to the core when their runner was dramatically cut down close home by Lyreen Legend in the opener at Naas, the Frank McGlynn Maiden Hurdle. Sat 29th Oct
that was a godo performance and he is a lovely horse. He jumped beautifully and quickened well. He has a lovely way of jumping but while I don't know immediate plans, I hope we'll be around for the Dr P.J. Moriarty Chase in December! . He was a few lengths off Grade 1 standard over fences but stays three miles well, loves soft ground, is by a very good sire (Saint Des Saints) . what more do you want!

We need another like him! He met the first two hurdles all wrong and he jumped a bit up in the air for the rest of them. The track probably wouldn't suit him.

He might be a nice horse. I thought he'd need the run to be honest as most of mine coming back have been needing the run. I know it wasn't a good race but he was impressive and he might be good enough for some of the better novice races. He is by a French sire (Saint Des Saints) and most of his love the soft ground (Quito De La Roque, Quel Esprit, St Devote etc, etc).
