I thought he'd win. He was the pick of the paddock. He had gone very well with the horse that won the bumper in Tramore last week (Long Goodbye) and I knew we weren't a million miles away. He wanted a nice race to go a good gallop but they went slow. He was very green, very raw. He'll improve stones for today, he really will. I wanted to come here for a nice track and nice race to get a good run into him. He has a huge engine and is a lovely horse going forward. He's very, very nice. He's for sale, so he'll probably be sold now. He's got a huge future ahead of him.
