Murphy, who was registering his second winner of the week, commented. We were hoping we'd get in. There were a lot of boxes ticked for her today. She had a lovely draw, we had the man that had won twice on her before taking off 7lb, and the ground had tightened up nicely. It was drying all the time and that's what she needs. She's probably at her best on that sort of ground. We were really impressed with her the last day, she won over a mile-and-a-half which is probably as short as she'd want. We felt coming today that she was probably better than she was going to Ballinrobe, for whatever reason. We knew she'd handle the hill and everything. Being on the inside was looking a bit tricky at one point but Paddy was very cool on her, he's very good value for his 7lb. He's going places that young man and we're happy to have him. She's going to go up in grade again. We were going to go for a '60' in Sligo but the handicapper left us with no option but to come here as he gave us 61 after the last day. That worked out nicely. She's going to still be in the 70 bracket and she'll go for something like this again, maybe even over two miles. She still has the hurdles option as well. She'll be running away while the ground is decent, until the winter time.

He gave her a lovely straightforward ride and sort of got the run of the race. I'm delighted with her. Shane Foley rode her the last day and came out beforehand and gave him a really good briefing. It was a real warm day the last day in Down Royal, and she sort of boiled over, and she didn't really run her race. No, not at all (not ungenuine) - just at that sort of level, sometimes if everything doesn't go right for a horse it is hard for them. We'll try and pick something similar again from a mile and six to two miles, and the same grade if we can. Hopefully, she will go in in another one and she has the option over hurdles. She should be able to pick up one of those as well.

I thought if she handled the track the hill finish would play to her strengths. She's a strong finisher. Very versatile, Flat or jumps. She tries which is a big thing with a horse. When you have a horse that tries, you have a big chance with one. Good ground and the stiff finish definitely helped as well. I think over further she will be better again. She'll get a rest now after that. I have five or six in Killarney this week - a few nice ones hopefully. When they are running well, we will keep them going and hopefully get another winner or two out of it.

It's my first double, we've had a few chances for doubles before but they never came off, so I'm delighted to get it. I thought this trip would definitely suit her because in all her races she just seems to stay. She stays a mile and a half, mile and six on the Flat so I was confident she'd stay this trip and I think she can win again over it. She'll probably go back to the Flat again and we'll mix it with her.

Maybe she has run one bad race. She has never had luck - if you look back, she has been stopped, turned over and been really unlucky. She well deserved that. I'm delighted for the syndicate because I know they were getting a bit despondent. I've never seen a horse with such bad luck and then I saw the draw, 11!. Wayne just said she didn't jump that great and wasn't really travelling so he took his medicine, went up the inside, bided his time and the more she went the better she started to go. Then he had to take a pull down the far bend when it got tight. I'm delighted how she finished out. . I'd say she will be claimed now and I think they are fine with that. Hopefully they will go again with a two-year-old. Job done.
