After race at Gowran Park Sat, 19th Sep, 2026 (1st)  She was good and she's a filly that obviously picked up black-type already,. She was entered in France today over a mile-and-a-quarter, fillies' only. France was the plan all the time, but earlier in the week I rang the owners as you put horses in France thinking you'll get soft ground, especially this time of year. But they've had a similar year to us. We just got the rain a touch earlier, and the weather was still hot and the ground still quick over there. I said to the owners that we'd rather take a chance that our own country will pay us back with a bit of rain. and luckily it did. It's brilliant. That's the third Group 3 and a Listed this year. Having one stakes winner was top of the bucket list this year, so to have four is madness. This is why we do it. Scott is my best friend and when he's on them, it's all the better. He's someone I rate very highly as a rider, but he just doesn't get the chances. It's brilliant to have him on board. Daniel McLoughlin

After race at Curragh Tue, 21st Oct, 2025 (1st)  she’s out of a Teofilo - the same as Nancee Spain I had who won in Roscommon, and they just seem to grow a leg on that ground. The two of them are kind of in the same boat, they were slow to learn but are improving all the time. Ben said Syzygy knows she’s a racehorse now, even going down to the start she was fairly switched on and actually raced a touch keen. He said if he had got a bit of cover it would have suited better. I can’t give out about her as she’s after winning three in a row. She’s on the improve but that might be her for the year. If it had been good ground it would probably have been a bad draw but on slower ground you see them coming home down the middle of the track to get the fresher bit of ground. That gave me a bit of confidence. In all fairness to the filly, she had to be good and game and she was. Ben was excellent on her as per usual. Daniel McLoughlin

After race at Curragh Sat, 4th Oct, 2025 (1st)  She’s a filly that I liked but she was slow to learn everything and she’s improving all the time,. The last day she probably just got away with it. Today she sharpened up plenty and Nathan said he thought he even kicked a little bit too soon on her as she only does enough. She’ll probably benefit from stepping up to a mile-and-a-quarter and she enjoys those conditions. We haven’t long left in the year and it’s just been so quick for so long, you just have to take these chances when they come. I thought you needed a horse that would get a mile-and-a-quarter on that ground out there today. She got 7lb the last day and if it had been a mile-and-a-quarter I’d have had a little bit more confidence today. It’s great to get it. Daniel McLoughlin
