I'm delighted for him. He seems to like the Curragh anyway,. He was probably a little bit unlucky last night. You could say Emma (Smith-Chaston) was a bit out of her ground but then Katie Walsh was behind her (on the winner). It would be easy to blame her but he was just a little unlucky. Hopefully we'll keep coming back here with him. There is no point going anywhere else. Any yard would be glad to have him.
Adrian Paul Keatley
He likes this place. He had a niggly injury at the backend of last season and it was probably a blessing as he likes to be fresh. He’s spot on once he gets a run under his belt. He could come back here on Oaks weekend for the Ladies Derby. He travelled like a dream and did the same here last year as well.
Adrian Paul Keatley
He had a long time off. We gave him a run in Naas and knew it would bring him on. We were happy with him coming here. He had 4lb less than when he won it two years ago and Helen was taking off 7lb so it worked out well. She gave him a great ride. She might have won a bit too far but we won't be too concerned about that. We're delighted with him and we'll see if there is anything in Galway for him. He does love this place though and seems better on a big galloping track. We'll have a look and see what is coming up and see how he is in the morning.
Adrian Paul Keatley
That's my first winner in Ireland. I've had winners at Chepstow and Ayr before. I got the licence in April and have six in training. He's a monkey but today suited him. They went slow and he was weaving in and out and he landed there. In Haydock the last day in a small field he managed to finish fourth when on his ability it should have been easy for him. Hopefully he can win another couple.
Adrian Paul Keatley
He did it well and we will see what the handicapper does now but he might go to Leopardstown. He will go further and he has a fair future. The way things worked out he was unlucky at Dundalk. He is sharp enough for a mile but he is bred to stay.
Peter McCreery
