Bartlett hope Motion wants rain
Emma Lavelle is praying for rain on the last day of the Cheltenham Festival to help Court In Motion's chances in the Albert Bartlett Novices' Hurdle.
The English trainer is keen to run the six-year-old in the three-mile staying event next Friday, for which he was favourite prior to a recent defeat at Haydock.
"Rain is definitely necessary for Court In Motion so we will have to see what happens with that. All being well he'll go for the Albert Bartlett," said Lavelle.
Lavelle could have at least three other runners at the big meeting, including Bouggler in the Jewson Novices' Chase
"The plan is for Bouggler to go for the novice and Pause And Clause go for the Pertemps Hurdle Final," the trainer continued.
"Highland Valley could go to Cheltenham too, but what we run him in depends on the weather.
"The form of his Exeter race has worked out very well. If we got any rain he'd probably go for the Neptune.
"If we didn't, he'd probably wait and go for the Albert Bartlett as well.
"Touch wood everything seems to be heading in the right direction. They all seem in good nick."
