Pertemps bid likely for Mine Now

Peter Fahey is leaning towards the Pertemps Network Final Handicap Hurdle for Mine Now.

The 10-year-old also holds an entry in the Coral Cup, but Fahey is looking at the three-mile event instead.

However, he is not overly pleased about how the Leopardstown winner has been handicapped.

"Mine Now will travel but I was a bit disappointed with how much weight he got," said Fahey.

"He's running off 142 and that's 2lb or 3lb higher over there, but the plan is to run him in the Pertemps."
