Cheltenham Preview on TG4

TG4 will screen a preview of the 2011 Cheltenham Festival at 8.10pm this evening. The preview will be repeated the night before the festival on Monday, 14th March at 9.30pm.

The TG4 preview was shot on location at Cheltenham racecourse and features visits to the stables of the principal trainers on both sides of the Irish Sea - Nicky Henderson, Paul Nicholls, Nigel Twiston-Davies, Willie Mullins and Colm Murphy.

“The Cheltenham Festival is one of the greatest events in the sporting calendar and TG4 are delighted to provide racing fans with the only preview of this iconic festival that will screen on Irish television. It will feature all the main championship races at the festival and will provide viewers with expert analysis and the latest betting news” said Rónán O’Coisdealbha, Head of Sport, TG4.

The magazine style preview is presented by Denis Kirwan, with analysis from racing pundit Donn McClean and the betting view is provided by Tony Kenny from William Hill. The preview programme is produced by Touchline Media.
