Rose Heads Supreme Contenders

Nicky Henderson's Amaretto Rose will face 21 rivals in the Anglo Irish Bank Supreme Novices' Hurdle.

The mare has only tasted one defeat under Rules ? in a bumper at Aintree ? and has won both her starts over hurdles this season by 13 lengths and 18 lengths.

She is also in receipt of a 7lb mares allowance.

Amaretto Rose is likely to face strong opposition from the Irish challenge, which is headed by De Valira.

Michael O'Brien's charge disappointed last time but previously defeated the highly-regarded Catch Me at Leopardstown.

Jessica Harrington's Hide The Evidence has already scored at the highest level and was pitched in against Hardy Eustace et al in the AIG on his last start.

Noel Meade's Orbit O'Gold, who lowered De Valira's colours on his last outing, Kalderon, Ebaziyan, Rindoon, Shanghide, Wins Now and Tipperary All Star supplement a strong Irish team.

Paul Webber will be hoping the rain stays away for De Soto, while Paul Nicholls will keep his fingers crossed either Granit Jack or Kicks For Free can follow in Noland's hoofprints 12 months ago.

Tyson, an impressive winner at Haydock on his only start over timber, represents the in-form yard of Venetia Williams.
