- Ten entered for Moriarty
Ten entered for Moriarty
A total of 10 horses have been entered for the rearranged Dr P.J. Moriarty Chase at Leopardstown on Sunday.
The Grade One novice event, saved over with the rest of the card from last weekend's Hennessy meeting lost to the weather, has attracted the cream of Ireland's young chasers.
Dusty Sheehy's Trafford Lad, Willie Mullins' Cooldine and Tom Cooper's Forpadydeplasterer have all stamped themselves as high-class chasers of the future.
Edward O'Grady's Tranquil Sea could bid to put a disappointing run in the Drinmore behind him while Dermot Weld's Majestic Concorde may make the steep step up in class after a winning chasing debut last month.
However, perhaps the most intriguing entrant is Noel Meade's Nicanor, until Saturday the only horse to have beaten Denman under Rules.
He has been absent since April 2006 when he followed up his victory at the Cheltenham Festival at Punchestown.
Chiraaz, Rare Bob, Top Of The Rock and former top-class novice hurdler Travino complete the line-up.
