Unaccompanied in great order

Dermot Weld's Triumph Hurdle hope Unaccompanied is firmly on target for the Cheltenham Festival next month.

The Moyglare Stud-owned filly impressed on her hurdling debut at Punchestown in December, and subsequently proved much too good for her rivals in the Grade 1 Spring Juvenile Hurdle at Leopardstown.

On both occasions she has been capably ridden by Paul Townend and Stan Cosgrove, racing manager for Moyglare, has revealed he will be in the plate again at Prestbury Park.

"She's in great order. I was at Dermot's on Wednesday and he's very happy with her," said Cosgrove.

"She's on course for Cheltenham and we hope there is a bit of give in the ground. She's by Danehill Dancer and most of those tend to want some ease.

"She's doesn't need it very soft, but she would like a little bit of give. Paul Townend will definitely ride her at Cheltenham."
