Ryan Moore rides NEW YORKER so he looks the stable first choice. His dam Fairyland was also a top level winner at three, in the Flying Five Stakes. Confucius is a half-brother to Alfareqa, a Doncaster maiden winner last year. Amo Racing also have two runners and Edward Thatch looks to be the first string. The Blackbeard colt was a €70,000 purchase as a yearling and is from a ‘Coolmore’ family. His unraced dam is out of Group 3 winner Beauty Bright.
