Permission was given for Catherine's Gift (IRE), Final Secret (GB), Havana Tobouggaloo (GB) and To Be Honest (GB) to wear a red hood to post, for Saliko (GB) to go early to post wearing a red hood, and for Camtank (GB) to wear earplugs which were removed at the start.
An enquiry was held to consider interference inside the final furlong, involving Life Is Rosie (GB), placed third, ridden by Nicola Currie, Final Secret (GB), placed second, ridden by Rob Hornby, and Camtank (GB), unplaced, ridden by Adam Farragher.
The interference was found to be accidental in that Hornby had committed for a legitimate gap between Camtank (GB) and Life Is Rosie (GB), before Life Is Rosie (GB) drifted slightly left-handed moving Final Secret (GB) inwards at the same time as a weakening Camtank (GB) edged right-handed, which forced Farragher to take a precautionary check on Camtank (GB) when short of racing room.
