Permission was given for Connies Hill (IRE) to be mounted in the chute.
An enquiry was held to consider interference passing the winning post on the first circuit, involving the winner, Le Roi Remi (FR), ridden by Jack Andrews and Graeme The Grey (GB), placed third, ridden by Marc Goldstein.
The interference was found to be accidental as Le Roi Remi (FR) lugged right-handed before being quickly corrected.
Following the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that Connies Hill (IRE), unplaced, had lost its left- hind shoe.
