The last time he ran here, he won and he went to Dubai (February 2016) and got injured. But he was always a good horse and still is a good horse and I'm delighted with him,. I thought he might need the run but he got a lovely run on him and that's his ground. I toyed with the idea of running in a good handicap hurdle at Punchestown next Friday but may stay on the Flat now. I don't really have any jump horses and he may appear back over hurdles maybe even at Galway! He could run on the Flat or over hurdles there - he's a fair horse over hurdles too. D K Weld, trainer

The Stewards interviewed Joseph G. Murphy, trainer, in relation to the withdrawal of his charge Swap Fox (Ire) owing to going at 4.52, under the provisions of Rule 194. Evidence was heard from the trainer concerned, from the trainers authorised representative Joseph Murphy and Mr. P. F. Graffin, Turf Club, Clerk of the Course. The trainer reported that his charge was in the stable yard and fully intended to run until walking the track and found it unsuitable in places owing to divot fill, where the ground was put back following the previous racing fixture. He also felt his charge needs a cut in the ground. Mr. Graffin described the going and the preparation of the ground for this evenings fixture and felt the ground was as described, but fully accepted that on a dry evening, the ground could possibly dry out more and agreed with the trainer. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards allowed the late withdrawal and took no further action.
