Perisher He done that very well. He enjoyed the step up in trip and he's a very straightforward horse. Dylan gave him a lovely no-nonsense ride. You'd be delighted with him. He looks like he's stepping forward. I'd say he's versatile enough on ground. The penny has dropped with him and the confidence of winning the last day stood to him. He loved it now and the step up in trip seemed to suit him as well. Dylan said he felt great through the race and he was always confident on him. |

Satoyama He came on nicely from his first run. He was quite green the first day, he walked out of the gates, and he was more professional today. I’m not sure how deep a maiden it was but you’d have to say that he won impressively. We’ll speak to Philip (Baron Von Ullmann) and discuss what the next step will be. He looks like a nice type. |

Chablis Rock She handled the ground well and while she is by Sioux Nation, she stays well. She is a big, slow-strider and Decky kept it simple and she won well. It was only a middle-of-the-road maiden but she now has a winning bracket. You'd love to find blacktype at some stage with her but we'll go for a handicap now. She has the size and scope to improve. Electric Night The switch to the grass was a big help for her and the easy ground wasn't a concern, as the feeling was that she mightn't have been loving Dundalk. We came to find out, she won very well and it was probably a fair effort against older horses. When she started off, we were hoping she'd win a Dundalk maiden but she was disappointing and had also been slow to come to hand. She is a well-bred filly and hopefully she can progress. Enceladus He is a fine, big horse who had a few nice runs last year. It is nice to get him started but he is a big gross horse, so I thought he might come on from this first run, and I'm still hoping he could. We see him as a 1m4f horse and I suppose he is heading for a rating in the mid-80s or a bit higher now, so it would make sense to go into a three-year-old handicap of some sort. Hopefully, he can be progressive. |

Mixed Feelings She obviously had a good run last year, so you’d hope that she’d come here and be hard to beat, but you don’t see them pull lengths away from the field like that very often. I thought it was an impressive win and she looks like a nice filly. We could jump into a Guineas trial but she did still look a bit green there, so we might look at having another run somewhere before we go into a Group race. We’ll see how she pulls out and then can decide, but she’s a nice filly for the future. She coped with that going, but Joey said she’d be better on better ground. I’d say she’ll be versatile. |
