Formscan - JONQUIL can be forgiven for failing to feature in a messy renewal of the Lennox Stakes here last month. He returns to a mile for the first time since narrowly beaten in the French 2000 Guineas at Longchamp and Andrew Balding's charge could prove hard to beat if back to the same level. Persica also reverts to today's distance with solid claims on his defeat of last year's winner Ice Max in the Diomed at Epsom in June, while Listed winner Make Me King is not out of it either.
