Formscan By Tom Weekes - HARTY CUP won well last month and while he is now 10lb higher, he remains unexposed. Placed third on point-to-point debut last March, the selection finished behind today’s rival Westoftignes at Gowran in January but stepped forward from that showing when scoring at Clonmel (where Commanche Moon finished fourth) and is open to plenty more progression. Westoftignes comes here fresher than the selection and has changed yards since that January run. The Dancen Kid showed improvement when finishing third in a big-field handicap at Leopardstown recently.
An extended handicap hurdle for four years old and upwards that have not won a hurdle race (excluding Academy Hurdles and 3-y-o Junior N.H. Hurdles) before 4th May 2025 (110 = 11st 12lbs)
Penalties - Winner of a hurdle race after calculation of the handicap shall carry 7lb extra for each hurdle race won.
