He's entered here for six furlongs on Wednesday and he probably will go for it. The penalty will bring him well into the handicap. It was (a competitive race) and I've to thank Luke McAteer who told me the last time to put Patrick on him to claim the 7lb off, and that that would be massive (for him). He'll probably get on him again on Wednesday. No, absolutely not (winning out of turn) - his form has been pretty solid. Probably my own fault for running him over the mile, I thought he would stay that being a Holy Roman Emperor, but he just showed there tonight that he has bundles of speed. He gave him 4lb for being second another day as well and sometimes when horses like this get two penalties for being second, they struggle. . Thankfully we got away with it and he got his win for the year. He was off injured early in the year, so it's great. . Padraic (Connolly) and the syndicate are from Galway and that was his first run in Galway this year when we ran him first time back.

He’s a horse that has been given us a bit of trouble at home. He’s keen and we were running him over six furlongs just to try and hold on to him. I thought the step up to seven would suit him today, in a race like this with plenty of pace. Ben said he relaxed well, was a bit green when he went for him first, but he said he finished the race out strongly. He hasn’t been doing that. We’re happy that he has today and he’s on the right track. Hopefully, he can keep improving now. He’s bred to probably stay another furlong, but I’d say seven is a good trip at the moment.
