Formscan - Rosallion shaped as if he'd come on plenty for his return run in the Lockinge at Newbury and did exactly that at Royal Ascot, running a blinder in defeat in the Queen Anne. Just a nose separated Richard Hannon's colt and Ascot specialist Docklands and it would come as no surprise if that form was reversed. However, they've all got FIELD OF GOLD to beat if he arrives in the same scintillating form as when bolting up in the St James's Palace Stakes. He was arguably the most impressive winner all week at Ascot and he had the reopposing French Guineas winner Henri Matisse three and a half lengths back in second.
