He seems to like the all-weather. A little bit disappointing maybe on the grass. Paddy (Harnett) said he felt good and well, and got to the line well so we are happy with him. I'd say we will keep him for the winter for a campaign here. He has got a higher mark on the all-weather which suggests he is probably a better horse on the all-weather. K.G. Kennedy, rider of Daler, trained by G.M.Lyons, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away and never travelled

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Daler, trained by G.M.Lyons, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the early stages of this race involving Eichan San, ridden by A

Browne-Souza, Romantic War, ridden by C. Geerdharry, and Beijinho (USA), ridden by S. Coen where it appeared Eichan San and Romantic War ran short of room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. A. Browne- Souza stated that he felt pressure from the outside and got tight for room. C. Geerdharry stated that he decided to take back and get a lead off Beijinho. S. Coen stated that he made his way across to the rail and wasn't aware of the horses on his inner. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found S. Coen was in breach of both Rule 214 (careless riding) and Rule 211(a)(moved to the railing before reaching the marker poles), and having considered his clean record in both these regards, the Raceday Stewards suspended him for two racedays under Rule 214 and one raceday under Rule 211

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Natalia Lupini, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Bishopton, placed first, as compared with its recent form. Craig Bryson, Authorised Representative for the trainer reported that Bishopton has solid form on the all weather surface and the return to it on this occasion may have brought about the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted the explanation given.
