Having struggled on grass of late, the Natalia Lupini trained Bishopton appreciated returning to an all-weather surface when running out an impressive winner of the Bar One Racing 'Visit Our New Website' Apprentice Maiden at Dundalk.

Runner-up on both starts at the County Louth track towards the end of last year, the three-year-old failed to reproduce that form for the most part when reverting to turf.

However, making his first start of 2025 on the Polytrack, the 9/2 chance was quickly into stride under Paddy Harnett, leading after a furlong.

Travelling easily into the straight, the gelding asserted from over a furlong out, keeping on strongly to score by three-and-three-quarter lengths.

Natalia Lupini said: "He seems to like the all-weather. A little bit disappointing maybe on the grass.

"Paddy (Harnett) said he felt good and well, and got to the line well so we are happy with him."

"I'd say we will keep him for the winter for a campaign here. He has got a higher mark on the all-weather which suggests he is probably a better horse on the all-weather. We are looking forward to campaigning him during the winter."
