ANZUM MISSES OUT

Anzum, winner of the Bonusprint Stayers' Hurdle at Cheltenham last season, will miss the defence of his title at the Festival tomorrow.

The gelding, trained by Alan King, was reported to be suffering from a muscle problem which flared up again on Sunday and he was not declared today.

A field of 10 horses has been left in the Grade One contest including last year's third Lady Rebecca, trained by Venetia Williams.

Also among the 10 hopefuls is the popular Irish hope Limestone Lad who will be bidding to win his ninth race of the season for owner-trainer James Bowe.

The 10 runners are: Bacchanal, Behrajan, Brave Tornado, Count Campioni, Effectual, Galant Moss, Limestone Lad, Mister Morose, Silver Wedge and Lady Rebecca.
