BANJO SET TO TUNE UP AT KEMPTON

Mister Banjo is very likely to have his Cheltenham Festival warm-up race in the Voice Newspaper Adonis Juvenile Hurdle at Kempton a week on Saturday.

Nicky Henderson's ex-French gelding is unbeaten in three outings over hurdles in this country and is currently William Hill's 3-1 ante-post favourite for the Elite Racing Club Triumph Hurdle at Cheltenham next month.

Anthony Bromley, who runs the Million In Mind Partnership in whose colours Mister Banjo races, said today: "He's very well and fine in himself at present and will be entered for the Adonis Hurdle at Kempton.

"We'll be taking a very close look at the race as there are few options open to us and this is really the only one open to us with shareholders and prize money in mind.

"So provided the ground is fine for him he seems very likely to run at Kempton and that will be it before he goes to Cheltenham for the Triumph.".
