The race looked a match beforehand and so it proved when the favourite headed long time leader and market rival Chorist (5/2-9/4) inside the final furlong en route to a hard fought 1/2L victory.
'This is our proper summer and you can see we are winning plenty of races because we have finally got out ground,' said Weld, who has an 'overseas campaign' in mind for the Moyglare Stud-owned Royal Academy filly.
'She wants fast ground and we will look at races in the USA and Canada or even the Prix de l'Opera if the ground was good in Longchamp,' Weld said.
