DANOLI TRIES AGAIN

Danoli makes a quick reappearance in the Brophy Farrell Auctioneers Newlands Chase at Naas tomorrow.

Tom Foley's popular chaser will be having his third run this month having unseated his rider in the Hennessy Cognac Gold Cup at Leopardstown and finishing third to Micko's Dream in the Red Mills Trial Chase at Gowran Park last Saturday.

The 12-year-old, ridden by Shay Barry, will face five rivals in the two-mile Grade Two contest including last year's winner Papillon.

The race will be televised live on Channel 4.

There may be some Cheltenham Festival clues on the supporting card where Royal & SunAlliance Chase possibles Alexander Banquet and Saxophone are among nine runners in the Anglo Irish Bank Nas Na Riogh Novice Chase.

And Noel Meade's smart Oa Baldixe is one of seven declared for the Woodlands Park 100 Johnstown Novice Hurdle.

On Sunday Tommy Carberry's Martell Grand National winner Bobbyjo continues his preparation for this year's Aintree spectacular in the Sutherland River Handicap Hurdle at Fairyhouse.
