Guineas weekend at the Curragh kicks off with an eight-race card this evening and the ground is Good (Straight) and Good, Good to Firm in places (Round) following 5mm of irrigation and 0.5mm of rain overnight.
It's set to be mainly dry today with the possibility of 10-12mm (approx) of rain from late Saturday afternoon through Sunday.

For the jumpers at Downpatrick this evening, the ground is Good, Good to Yielding in places, following 6mm of rain since declarations.
Overcast conditions are predicted with the possibility of 2-3mm (approx) of rain today.
