Good Time Jonny has been supplemented for the Albert Bartlett Novices Hurdle on the final day of the Cheltenham Festival.

The Shirocco gelding, who has won three of his last four starts in handicaps, was a leading fancy for the 2m5f Coral Cup but connections have decided to keep him at three miles after he won a valuable event over that trip at the Dublin Racing Festival.

After saddling Drakensberg to win at Dundalk last night, trainer Tony Martin commented: “He's in good order and hopefully he'll give a good account of himself.

“We'll know a lot more in the morning, we'll do a bit with him tomorrow and that will be the deciding factor.”

The seven-year-old clearly showed enough to satisfy his trainer and is one of 25 horses left in Friday's staying contest.
