The Guineas, Chester and the top-class Flat fare continues now next week at York, with one of the in-form Irish yards eyeing some of the prizes on the Knavesmire. The 2024 Dante Festival is certainly on Jessica Harrington's mind.

Mrs Harrington's string have been mopping up some nice prizes in recent times, with Stakes race success for Givemethebeatboys and Sea The Moon, among a slew of winners for Commonstown runners in the last few weeks.

The Tom and Gerry Met Mickey Syndicate-owned Yashin has a Group Two Boodles Yorkshire Cup Stakes option, the near mile and three quarter heat being part of the British Champions Series.

“If it doesn’t rain and the ground has got good in it then he’ll go there. It depends on the ground," explained Mrs Harrington.

“I didn’t want to take on Kyprios again, there was no point doing that.

“I’ve been absolutely delighted with him since Navan.”
