The Philip Rothwell-trained Bowmore created a favourable impression by obliging on his debut over flights in the Alex McCarthy Maiden Hurdle at Limerick yesterday. The Alan Donoghue-ridden Bowmore went to the head of affairs after two out to beat Safe Deposit by two lengths.

Brave Eagle won at this meeting last year and similarly the Pat Doyle-trained Lord Who recorded his second course success by coming home at his leisure with JT McNamara in the Russell's Bar Leading Trainer Award Beginners Chase.
