Point Gellibrand made all the running to bring up a treble for Joseph O'Brien and Shane Crosse in the Clayton Hotel Leopardstown Maiden at Leopardstown.

Similar to their winner in the opening race, Crosse had his horse away smartly from stalls, never being headed as he put his previous experience to good use in this contest.

Gelded since last seen at Cork in May, the son of Camelot was tracked by Gatito Rapido in the early stages but fought that one off before the turn into the straight. Oh So Lovely stayed on well to take second close home but was no match for the winner.

“I suppose he was entitled to win on his form,” said O'Brien.

“He was gelded since the last day and he'll probably step back into a nice race the next time.

“It probably wasn't ideal making the running but it's nice to get his head in front. He'll get confidence from that.

“He's rated 93 and he's not going to go up for that, he might drop him a few pounds!

“There is a listed race back here over a bit further and then there are handicaps on Champions Weekend worth a few quid so he could go for something like that.”
