Cheltenham goes ahead
Cheltenham's full card will go ahead as scheduled after the cross-country course passed a 10am inspection.
Clerk of the course Simon Claisse delivered a positive bulletin upon inspection at 8am that the new course, which stages the hurdles and chase races, had beaten freezing overnight temperatures.
There were some doubts about the running of the Glenfarclas Cross Country Handicap Chase, but officials have now given that race the green light.
"It's good news and the cross-country course is fit for racing, so we will have the full card as scheduled," said Cheltenham managing director Andy Clifton.
