Kevin Brouder rode his first winner when Masons Daughter landed the spoils in the Listowel Printing Works Irish EBF Mares (Pro/Am) INH Flat Race.

Listowel native Brouder, a brother of fellow jockey, Gearoid, was aboard Masons Daughter for County Cork handler Philip O'Connor.

The consistent Sandmason mare, also bred and part-owned by O'Connor, was always to the fore in this Ladies Day finale, and she eventually beat Brave Inca's half-sister, Quri by two lengths.

The front pair left Glebe Girl all of sixteen lengths back in third.

"I was always waiting on this ground. She's classy and stays well," said O'Connor.

"The Listed bumper in Gowran will probably come too soon but we may try and find another one for her. She'll go over hurdles.

"I have two in training at the moment in Dungourney. It's a tough old game but days like this is what it's all about.

"I have the mare and have three other class types coming off her."
