There’s obviously not much change to ground conditions around the country as the very warm spell of weather continues, although the ground at Naas has eased a fraction following watering over recent days.

It’s now good for today’s eight race card which starts at 4.15pm.

The twin feature races are a couple of Listed sprints for fillies, the Yeomanstown Stud Irish EBF Stakes for three-year-olds and upwards at 5.20 and, half an hour later, the Arqana Irish EBF Marwell Stakes for two-year-olds.

The jumpers are in action at Limerick tomorrow and the ground is now good, good to firm in places after watering. Watering continues and will continue into tomorrow morning if necessary.

Two Flat meetings on Friday and Down Royal remains good to firm, good in places with watering set to continue, as it will at Cork where it’s good, good to firm in places. There is warm and dry weather forecast for both venues.

The ground at Galway, where seven days of racing begins on Monday, is good as watering continues and the weather in the West is set fair for the coming days as well.
