Ryan Moore kept it simple on odds-on-favourite Broadway with an all-the-way success in Naas.

The daughter of Galileo contested the fillies' maiden over a mile and broke well to lead.

She was shaken up to assert in the final furlong and came home by a comfortable two and a half lengths.

The 10/11 favourite beat Kalaxana who was doing her best work at the finish, into second at 14/1.

A gamble on Jim Bolger's newcomer Scriobh Nua (7/2 to 9/4) was foiled although she showed potential in third, beaten three and a quarter lengths by the winner having been prominent throughout.

Aidan O’Brien said: “She did that lovely and I suppose she was entitled to do that after her last run. Ryan said that trip is good for her and we’ll probably try for a Stakes race next with her.”

Broadway was the clear form choice after a third place in a Group Three at Leopardstown earlier in the month.
