Lady Tilbury is set to join Paddy Twomey after being sold for 150,000 guineas this week at the Tattersalls December Mares Sale.

The daughter of Bated Breath has proved a real flagbearer for trainer David Marnane and his MRC International owners group winning four times at two and three all over the minimum trip.

The speedy filly was also placed twice at Listed level earlier this year at Naas and Cork.

"We just sold Lady Tilbury on Tuesday - Paddy Twomey bought her for 150,000. It is good business and I wish him the very best of luck with her, she was a good buy for him,” said Marnane.

The Bansha trainer added, "We run the MRC International syndicate for two years, so at the end of their three-year-old career the horses go.

"She was bought for 18,000 and she ran in the Queen Mary for us, she was stakes placed and won four races."

The MRC International syndicate comprises members from all over the world including America, Australia, Dubai, UK and Ireland.
