'Happy horse' Teddy Boy completed a good evening's work for Eddie Lynam at Dundalk today, as the seven year old completed a double for his admiring trainer in the concluding Floodlit Friday Nights At Dundalk Handicap.

The son of Dandy Man has a low win-rate with today's success being just his third in 53 runs, but following his late effort to score under jockey Danny Sheehy, trainer Lynam reported “he's a good old servant and he's a very popular horse in the yard. He leads the string most mornings and he's a happy horse.”

He added “he doesn't win that often but he wasn't winning out of turn as he ran well the last day.

“He's in again on Wednesday and he might run again, we'll see how he is.”

Lynam's Resourceful Man had won the half-hour earlier handicap, for jockey Declan McDonogh.
