Pat Martin completed a 57 and a half to one double at one of his local tracks, when in-foal Oceania Queen showed plenty of courage to land the concluding Bobbyjo Bistro Great Value Packages Handicap under Pat Smullen at Fairyhouse.

Martin was earlier on the mark with the Colin Keane-partnered Ishebayorgrey and whilst that fellow justified favouritism in race two, Oceania Queen's victory was a little bit of the more unexpected variety, as she was sent off a 12/1 shot.

Despite her starting price, there was a confidence behind the victorious Oratorio filly amongst her connections, after she made the line-up having been reserve number two.

The four-year-old shrugged aside the fact that she endured anything but a clear run, as she got the better of Dancing Noretta by two lengths.

"The horses have been running well for quite a while but just not getting their heads in front. She's in foal to Frozen Power and has about another two and a half months before she has to call it quits. This is her level," divulged Martin.

"That's one way to keep the mother-in-law happy (winning owner Mrs Nuala Brennan)! They are great supporters of the yard, and it's great that she is here this evening."

The Stewards informed Donal Kinsella, trainer that King Of Oriel would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again.
