Dermot Weld and Aidan O'Brien have dominated recent renewals of the Coral.ie EBF Naas Oaks Trial and fought out the finish again, with the Weld-trained Discipline coming out on top.

The 9-10 favourite tracked O'Brien's pacesetting Earring until Pat Smullen pressed the button halfway down the straight, but the front-runner still had more to give.

They went head to head until Discipline eventually asserted her authority to triumph by half a length, with Earring's stablemate How High The Moon staying on well for third.

Weld and Smullen doubled up when Sea Swift took the Coral.ie EBF Fillies Maiden, giving Weld his 4,000th career success.

Jessie Harrington continues to fire in the winners and sent out Drumfad Bay (12-1) to strike at the first time of asking in the Coral.ie EBF Fillies Maiden.

The daughter of Acclamation changed hands for 200,000gns as a yearling and appears to have a very bright future judging by her head defeat of the odds-on How.

Robbie Downey is another enjoying a profitable spell and steered Future Icon home in front in the New Ireland Assurance Supporting North Kildare Chamber Handicap.

No sooner had Burren View Lady hit the front at the furlong pole than she was headed by the 20-1 winner, who shot clear and crossed the line a length and a half ahead.

Downey looked set to follow up when bringing Future Icon's stable companion Frosty Dream with a big run in the Coral.ie Maiden.

Her effort petered out in the final half-furlong, though, and she was collared by Aspar (4-1), who finished over the top of Frosty Dream to prevail by three-quarters of a length.

Despite a 5lb penalty for her Gowran victory last weekend, Palmones was still 5lb well-in in the John Murphy Memorial Apprentice Handicap and duly capitalised at the chief expense of Athenry Boy winning by a length and a half as the 4-1 favourite.

The money came for Mr Right before the Denis Byrne Memorial Handicap and the 11-4 favourite didn't disappoint, prevailing in a three-way finish from Beat The Ballot and Falcao
