Onlyhuman made it two wins from four starts since joining Jessica Harrington, as he took the Handipak Play Live At Limerick Racecourse On July 25th Handicap.
Successful over the course on his penultimate start, the son of Invincible Spirit since finished second to Magnetic Force at Navan last Saturday.
He was due to run at Leopardstown on Thursday, but was a late withdrawal due to the quick ground.
Backed from 9/2 into 7/2 favouritism today, the Michael Cooke owned six-year-old was settled behind the leaders by Shane Foley.
He was pushed along and got to the front shortly after the two pole, keeping on well under pressure inside the final furlong to score by a comfortable length and a half. Great Grey (25/1) ran on well to take second under Padraig Beggy for Luke Comer, while the Aidan O'Brien trained Turnberry Isle (6/1) was another half a length back in third.
"That's probably as quick as he wants the ground but he's not a bad horse," said Foley.
"The plan was to be a bit further back but everyone was taking themselves back after jumping out of the stalls and I thought Colin (on Bobby Boy was the one to beat so I didn't want to give him too much of a march.
"In hindsight Colin stopped dead very quick and I was left there but he saw it out well and has plenty of pace.
"I think he needs to be delivered late and I was kicking myself last time, I just wanted to see what he'd do today when he was in front early.
"He has a little look but he's very genuine. He was probably a week short the last day, he needs cut and with the ground being the way it was we weren't doing much with him. When the rain came we had to run him.
"The Topaz Mile might be on the agenda off a light weight, he's gone well around Galway before."
STEWARDS REPORT
The Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages involving Shekiba, ridden by G.F. Carroll, placed fourth and Laughifuwant, ridden by D.W. O'Connor, unseated. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that the incident was caused by Laughifuwant accidentally clipping the heels of Shekiba and therefore took no further action.
