FormscanBy Tom Weekes - STAND OFF might win from bottom weight. He ran a solid race when fourth on debut in a Punchestown festival bumper in April 2019 and while beaten 11L by today's rival Conquredalofeurope over CD last November, both horses were returning from absences and STAND OFF won an ordinary maiden hurdle over an inadequate two miles on his next start and the step up in trip likely to suit today. Conquredalofeurope, a chasing type, was well enough held on his latest two starts. Tucanae slipped up early-on at Limerick over Christmas and while the form of her Fairyhouse maiden win is nothing special, she seems adaptable trip-wise and can go well. French Light, in a first-time tongue-tie, is American trained and has a Grade 1 Dublin Racing Festival entry. He finished 19L fourth to Ferny Hollow on point-to-point debut in February 2019, later won his Irish point before moving to America where he has form figures of '32115' were gained on fast ground. He won a Usd48,000 Allowance Race at Saratoga last August, has Irish point-to-point form on soft and he could go well, rated 122. Gervey is useful on testing ground and comes here having run well in a similar race in December while Broomfields Jeremy ran well in a Punchestown handicap recently. Coolbane Boy has shown useful form but might bump into a few too strong while CD winner Pepite De Belle was well beaten on her latest start. Chaser Lord Schnitzel is probably best watched on his return. %0A
