FormscanBy Mark Nunan - Things haven’t fallen into place yet for J M BARRIE, but he has shaped more than once that he’s handicapped to win a race of this nature. He was competitive in a few nurseries at Dundalk over the winter, and his first two starts back on Turf at Limerick were reasonably promising. He might be one that would appreciate being played very late off a good pace. Woods took a step forward last time out at Galway and is respected, while Silk Cravat is in form but still searching for a first win on Turf. Chagall beat a big field over the straight seven here last year and should be primed for a big run, while Lady Sonia’s course and distance success was on the round course but this diminutive filly should give an equally good account of herself under these circumstances.
