FormscanBy Mark Nunan - It doesn’t look the strongest of maidens and ROCK CHANT appears to have the best form in the book. He was a fair sixth in a Leopardstown maiden (runner-up won next time) last month before running to a mark of around 75 (second and third both rated 79) when fourth at Limerick on his second start. It’s hard to know if dropping back from a mile and a half to ten furlongs will be to his advantage but, in any event, this looks a winnable contest. Premium Ticket was green on debut when fifth to the selection’s stablemate Gaheris over 9f at Leopardstown last week and might improve enough to pose a threat, while See The Love has run respectably in two runs over this trip but needs to find a fair bit of improvement. Colin Keane’s mount Dragon Gem, from a yard in form, wouldn’t need to be a star to get into the shake-up on debut.
